More than 95.8% of the world population of buffaloes can be found in Asia. In Malaysia, buffaloes used in producing milk and meat. Buffalo’s milk presents physicochemical features different from other ruminant species. Buffalo milk also contains higher levels of total solids, crude protein, fat, calcium, phosphorus and slightly higher content of lactose compared with those cow milk.
Jawer Sigh, 58 years old was one of buffalo milk farmers near Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has started the business since 48 years ago. Now he has 8 workers who help manage than 100 their milk buffalo.
